About us

Founded in 1893, Herlitz is one of the largest removal companies in and around Munich. In 2005, ownership was transferred to two long-standing employees, ensuring the continuation of the family business and its principles.

We at Herlitz see each move as a personal challenge to help you manage what can be a very emotional time. Wherever you are moving to or from, three generations of moving professionals will be by your side to advise you before, during, and after your move. The company is located in Munich on the Mittleren Ring. It has approximately 300 square meters of office space, 1000 square meters of free space and 1800 square meters of warehouse space.

A second large warehouse is located in Eching near Neufahrn directly on the A 9 Munich-Nurenberg. The indoor area measures approximately 1200 square meters and the outdoor area, 1000 square meters. The warehouse holds approximately 500 storage containers each with a capacity of 7,5 cubic meters.

Herlitz uses its extensive network of over 80 Confern partners in Germany and across Europe, as well as trusted partners outside of Europe to deliver worry-free moves regardless of your destination.

Herlitz is committed to quality and holds important industry Quality Certificates. In April 1995 it received DIN EN ISO 9002 certification and later gained DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 certification. The team continuously strives to enhance its level of quality and has undergone subsequent audits with success!
